"The Commission’s proposal to repeal a number of legal acts, as presented to the European Parliament and the Council under the ordinary legislative procedure, is driven by the European Union’s policy commitment to improve the quality of law making, and to simplify the legislation in force in order to create a better and clearer legislative environment for businesses. in order to improve the transparency and certainty of Union law. I welcomed the document because the proposed amendments are intended to ensure more clarity and legal certainty for the Union’s citizens and institutions."@en1
