"Mr President, Hungary, like the other 24 Member States of Europe, is a democracy. Pursuant to the rule of law, we changed our Government after the parliamentary elections in April.
On 1 October, we will have municipal elections in which we will elect the mayors in the municipalities. Therefore, those who have demonstrated on the streets against the Government and in favour of a change of government are working against the Hungarian constitution and against the rule of law. We are closer today to knowing who these people are who are playing with fire in this way. Once again, Hungary should abide by the rule of law and follow democratic rules."@en1
