Triples with object We have voted against this resolution because it is wishing to interfere in the function of the Member Countries when determining the competitiveness of the industry. The resolution is also calling for the Commission to have an input in the efficient running of the airports when the UK has one of the most efficient airport operations in the world. Furthermore, the resolution is looking at increasing the responsibilities of EASA when there is no necessity for this; the CAA has already had some regulatory responsibilities passed to EASA and further responsibilities must not be taken away.
