Triples with object UKIP voted against this binding budgetary report. This was the final agreement on the EU budget for 2017 which would increase by 1.7% from 2016 (a EUR 2.5 billion increase) – meaning the final EU budget for 2017 would be set at just over EUR 157 billion. The UK is forecast to contribute over EUR 17.3 billion gross (after taking in to account the UK rebate). UKIP opposes this increase in the EU budget.
