Triples with object UKIP MEP’s have voted in favour of our group’s rejection amendment which calls for the council position to be rejected and the procedure to be closed. UKIP believes that it is not the competency of the European Union to create and manage entry requirements for third country nationals into the Union. We believe that this is a decision that sovereign national governments should have the ability to decide.
