Triples with object Today UKIP voted against the EU resolution on Emission measurements in the automotive sector. We believe that targets should be set at the national level by democratically accountable governments. We do not want new EU regulation in this field and we fear that the unelected EU Commission will want to reform EU emissions testing with a new regulatory framework whilst strengthening the implementation and enforcement of existing EU law.
