Triples with object Requests for immunity waivers are not the subject of roll-call votes. In the interests of democracy and transparency I would therefore like to confirm that I voted to waive the immunity. My reason for this is straightforward, and completely unconnected to the circumstances of the case or any allegations: immunity does not cover events which occurred before the start of an MEP’s mandate.
