Triples with object I voted in favour of this motion because I agree that the current approval system for GM food and feed is not functioning as well as it could be. I also voted in favour of Amendment 6 because the Commission’s decision to authorise genetically-modified maize breaches Article 13(2) of the Treaty, similarly Amendment 1 also points out that authorisation of GM maize disrespects the principle of sincere cooperation.
