Triples with object I voted against this report which has been prepared in advance of the European Council on Defence in December. I fear that the emphasis will be on strengthening the defence and arms industry and I am opposed to that. I believe that the EU could establish a real role in the world with a civilian peace corps, concentrating on defusing tension and conflict prevention. I am opposed to the development of European drones. I have actively opposed the use of our airspace for testing drones in Wales.
