Triples with object I voted against a number of measures which would have seen the overall EU budget increase and against proposed rises for agricultural subsidies, including bullfighting subsidies, and administration. I voted instead to focus the EU budget more heavily upon investment for growth and jobs and voted for regional funding that goes directly to communities that are best able to determine how to deliver for people locally. I want to see a real budget reform in the EU, with areas that do not bring any real benefits to our constituents cut.
