Triples with object Hermann Winkler is a German MEP (CDU/EPP). On 23 September 2015 he was a party to a serious road traffic accident. The German Prosecutor seeks the lifting of his immunity so that the MEP can become a subject of the investigation into the incident. There is no nexus to his duties as an MEP. In those circumstances our policy is to vote in favour of lifting his immunity.
