lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this report, which was an approval of an application by Belgium to mobilise the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF). The report approved aid of €1.8 million for 488 redundant workers from Caterpillar Belgium SA. The EGF funds are used to provide re-training and personalised job search supports to workers made redundant as a result of globalisation and major changes in global trade patterns. In recent years changes to the rules of the EGF has meant that workers made redundant as a result of the financial crisis can also be covered by the EGF programmes. Caterpillar Group in the EU was largely dependent on public/private partnerships. Since these have been considerably reduced since the financial crash, large scale liquidations ensued. Naturally I support the proposal to provide assistance to workers made redundant as a result of the crisis to find new employment."@en1
