lpv:spoken text	"This report concerns the sustainable development of mountain regions in the EU, including recognising the crucial connections between these regions and their surrounding and urban areas. The report in particular calls for a definition for mountain regions, which make up 30% of EU territory, and the creation of a single strategic approach towards these regions. It calls for steps to be taken to overcome issues of accessibility and a lack of infrastructure and public services, and to foster employment and combat depopulation, while also taking into consideration ecological impacts and cross-border issues. The challenges caused by youth exodus from these regions are also referred to. For these reasons I voted in favour."@en1
