lpv:spoken text	"I supported this resolution because it urges the Commission and the Member States to promote the simplification of the rules governing financial instruments within ESI Funds in order to align them more closely to the beneficiaries’ needs, aiming at their improved use. It is important at this time that we use cohesion funds in the most effective and sustainable way possible, without allowing parts of our Union to be left behind. In the interests of use and transparency it is important that there is a standardisation of procedures across the EU to allow citizens a greater understanding. This policy area is too important to the wellbeing of European Union citizens to be allowed to continue with its current bottlenecks."@en1
