lpv:translated text	"I supported this report not only to re-emphasise the role of women in the world of entrepreneurship – an act which, to me, seems as rhetorical as it is simplistic – but to begin a shared journey together with all Member States so that we can move towards a shared goal in a uniform way and by bringing together the best practices developed over the years. Even the use of different support systems in the Member States does not meet standardised and shared criteria because they often appear to be influenced both by cultural requirements and by idiosyncratic processes that vary from one country to another. Therefore, promoting initiatives to combat discrimination against women – who represent a significant proportion of the labour force in Member States – is tantamount to promoting development by yoking together equality and equal opportunities – something we must absolutely guarantee."@en1
