I encourage Member States to implement policies enabling women to achieve a suitable work-life balance, and to establish appropriate child care facilities, as their lack of affordability, availability and quality creates additional obstacles to women wishing to set up their own business. The potential offered by women entrepreneurship is far from being sufficiently harnessed in the European Union, at a time when the increase in the number of women entrepreneurs is having a positive impact on, and making an immediate contribution to, the economy overall."@en1
