"− I welcome the Turmes report on energy produced from renewable sources, yet I realise that to reach the target will be difficult. In my own region, the South West of England, our major contribution to achieving this target will be some version of the Severn Tidal Barrage. This will have a long lead time and it is therefore essential that some allowance be sought by the British Government for the consequences of ‘projects in train’ and that the Commission grant this derogation."@en1
