It is outrageous that common rules in the field of civil aviation security do not automatically apply to Gibraltar because of the ongoing refusal by Spain to recognise Gibraltar as a full part of the European Union. This continued harassment only entrenches, understandably, hard-line views in Gibraltar. I would recommend that any long-term solution is more likely to follow from carrots and not sticks."@en1
