lpv:spoken text	"Today I voted in favour of this resolution which aims to put pressure on the German Government to extend the funding available for Thalidomide survivors in Germany to those survivors from other countries concerned. The timing of the resolution is crucially important, as in January 2017 the German parliament will amend a law on the rules for providing financial support. Thalidomide survivors should be formally recognised in all Member States concerned and be finally given adequate and fair compensation from the Special Health Fund of the German Contergan Stiftung."@en1
