lpv:spoken text	"This file is part of the ‘Market Pillar’ of the Fourth Railway Package, which I oppose as it is aimed at entrenching liberalisation, competition and the market in the European railway sector. Specifically, this vote concerns a Council recommendation to amend Regulation 1370/2007, opening up the domestic passenger market by rail to competitive tender, while restricting the power of authorities in Member States to allocate services by direct award. It deepens the liberalisation of the sector, while eroding public transport workers’ rights and conditions, and encouraging social dumping. Therefore I voted in favour of an amendment to reject the text."@en1
