The first prolongation was asked to give time to Member States to transpose Directive 2012/34/EU. The deadline of transposition expired in June 2015 and only one Member State (namely Germany) has not been able to meet it. However, it is expected to do so by the end of this year (2016). I voted to reject the ENF amendment which would have rejected the Council position."@en1
