lpv:spoken text	"I abstained on this non-legislative, non-binding, own-initiative report. I agreed with the sentiments of the report which condemned sexual violence, rape, trafficking, child labour, the lack of rights for LGBTI and discrimination in these (non-EU) eastern European countries. However, I could not support legitimising and expanding EU action on the international stage. The report called for gender quotas in politics; expansion of EU programmes and funding through Erasmus and Horizon2020 to these countries; and greater involvement of EU agencies in these countries. These issues should be addressed bilaterally between elected national governments, not unaccountable EU institutions."@en1
