lpv:spoken text	"I, along with a broad cross-party majority of Members in the European Parliament, approved this report regarding the situation of Fundamental Rights in the EU in 2015. Recent developments in some EU Member States have had a negative impact on the protection of fundamental rights, in particular for vulnerable groups such as migrants, refugees, children and women. I believe we must act to scrutinise respect for and promotion of Fundamental rights across the Union. Democracy is a necessary condition for the rule of law, it is not sufficient to guarantee it. It is our obligation and our moral duty to guarantee that fundamental rights in the EU are protected."@en1
