"I voted in favour of this report that amends the European Parliament’s Rules of Procedure. This revision will make the overall operation of Parliament more transparent and counter disruptive parliamentary practices. For example, this new procedure now prohibits any paid lobbyist work for Members of Parliament, while former Members of Parliament must register for such activity. It also proposes a strengthening of sanctions that can be imposed on a Member of Parliament in the event of non-compliance with the rules of conduct."@en1
