lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this report which includes important reforms to make the European Parliament more transparent, efficient and ready to listen to European citizens. This report crucially allows us to take significant steps forward on transparency: MEPs will be banned from taking a paid lobbying job during their mandate, and after they step down, their privileges as ex-MEPs – such as having free access to Parliament – will be denied if they become lobbyists after their mandate. Another key measure is the imposition of stronger sanctions against anyone making defamatory or xenophobic statements in plenary."@en1
