"Mr President, Mario Draghi said ‘whatever it takes’. I believe him. The EU will do anything to preserve its pet projects, whether the euro or the common fisheries policy. This means they will play any trick, no matter how underhand, sly or destructive of democracy. They know there is a great repeal bill planned by the UK’s Tory government. They therefore know that all the new rules and regulations they can get through over the next couple of years will be imposed on the British people, in some cases for decades. The greatest EU con for my country, Scotland, and our neighbours, England, is the infamous common fisheries policy. The EU plans to use May’s misguided bill to give it an afterlife in the North Sea and the North East Atlantic. Well, we have spotted your cunning plan and that is why we will oppose all those apparently obscure measures. It also tells us why the British Government is foolish and idiotic if it accedes to Labour, Lib Dem and ‘remoaner’ demands to reveal its hand in advance of the negotiations. Shame on you. Shame on them. Let us get out of the European Union now."@en1
