lpv:spoken text	"Whilst I support the principle of solidarity when it comes to disaster relief, I am unconvinced that the Solidarity Fund is fit for purpose. Money often takes months, or longer, to be approved. Member States pay for this fund, which is then redistributed amongst Member States, so the overall impact of the fund – given the administration and bureaucracy caused – may not actually provide any net benefit to disaster relief. This resolution correctly identifies some issues, however, and I therefore abstained."@en1
