The Oral Question focused on whether the Commission is planning a strong European policy towards Africa, namely through the establishment of a Europe-Africa partnership for the electrification of the continent as well as on the state of progress and the main challenges encountered in the implementation of programmed development assistance in the energy area. It also focuses on the outlook for the Commission’s continued implementation and on the proportion of the funds engaged that goes to local renewable energy projects."@en1
