lpv:spoken text	"I have been an active supporter and advocate of stricter rules on conflicts of interests of Commissioners, including a longer cooling-off period for all Commissioners, and more binding power for the Commissioners’ Ethics Committee. This is in line with the proposals made by key stakeholders like Transparency International. The recent actions by former Commission President Barroso and other similar case are a disgrace, and do not meet the standards we expect from democratic leaders. I will continue to pursue transparency, integrity, and openness in decision-making, and bringing in higher binding standards for officials and elected representatives."@en1
