lpv:spoken text	"While I fully support the increase in expenditure related to the ongoing humanitarian crisis with thousands of people fleeing conflicts in Syria and Iraq, I do not support either the proposed increase in expenditure for security measures, or the expenses related to the EU-Turkey declaration on refugees. The increased security measures and the EU-Turkey declaration aim to bolster ‘Fortress Europe’ thereby preventing refugees from exercising their right to seek asylum as laid down in Article 18 of the Charter of Human Rights. Therefore, I voted abstention."@en1
