lpv:spoken text	"Mr President, this report calls on Member States to stop over-regulating small transport businesses, which I find most hypocritical. Across the UK, self-employed hauliers and SME hauliers have been drowned in EU legislation. The driver’s certificate of professional competence has crippled the UK’s small transport businesses, costing them an absolute fortune. This has led to a massive drop in the number of qualified drivers and also to a significant shortage of drivers. The EU should stop criticising Member States and start looking a little bit closer to home."@en1
