"I voted against the report on the Implementation of the Common Security and Defence Policy as I am opposed to the militarisation of the European Union. I believe the EU could play an invaluable role on the world stage in conflict prevention. I am engaged in the campaign to establish a Peace Institute in Wales which will help promote peace in our society and in our everyday lives. The EU should have its own Peace Institute to help develop a policy that would bring people real security."@en1
