lpv:spoken text	"Today I voted in favour of the finalisation of Basel III. It is paramount that banks are an efficient component of our economy and not an element of risk. Banks need to be well capitalised in order to support the real economy, reduce systemic risk and avoid the repeat of the enormous bailouts witnessed during the crisis. This resolution has been made to state Parliament’s position on some key issues under discussion by the Basel Committee (BCBS) that will influence the legislation for the banking sector in the coming years."@en1
