"I voted in favour of this resolution as waterborne passenger transport plays a crucial role in connecting the different regions of the European Union especially in areas such as shipping, inland and maritime ferries, urban and peripheral mobility, cruises and tourism. I welcome the efforts of the WPT sector to switch to cleaner, energy-efficient ships with lower emissions, developed as part of a European framework aimed at making waterborne transport greener."@en1
