lpv:spoken text	"Mr President, I voted in favour of this report in light of the rapporteur’s measured appraisal of the European System of Central Banks and the euro system’s monetary policy. In particular I appreciate that price stability, transparency and the economic policies of the European Union provided a keystone for such a report in a welcome return to a stocktaking objective of the exercise. Above all, from an Irish perspective I am pleased to see Brexit and its implications occupying a central position in this report. The integrity of the single market must remain respected in this transition, and I am hopeful that the necessary rules and regulations will be established in order to maintain financial stability throughout this process. In supporting this report I am confident that the combination of sound fiscal policies and ambitious reform programmes will guide economic policy for the EU."@en1
