lpv:spoken text	"I supported this report, which highlights how the CAP can be a force for employment in rural areas, both in farming and beyond. This report outlines the reasons for falling rates of employment in the primary sector following the advances in intensification of European agriculture. The report highlights mechanisms to create employment beyond agriculture. Crucially, the report points out the role of local, bottom-up initiatives such as the LEADER approach, which can galvanise the support of local communities and help orientate public funds. It also emphasises the role of women in rural areas as well as the contribution of non-agricultural sectors, such as forestry and tourism."@en1
