"I voted in favour of the report which will create a level playing field for fishermen across the EU and improve respect for controls. Among other things, the report advocates harmonising the scope of controls, increasing training opportunities for inspectors and fishermen, standardising sanctions, and investing more into technologies and the EFCA budget.
