"I voted against this non-legislative and non-binding report. This report is an unnecessary duplication of efforts already undertaken at UN level, who have already agreed Guiding Principles on this issue, unanimously agreed by all members. There are calls within the report for the creation of more EU legislation. I am supportive of the overall objectives in improving human rights but the EU is creating an unnecessary duplication."@en1
