lpv:spoken text	"The majority of this amending budget is extra money for CCTV, X-ray machines and security personnel. The total cost of this is EUR 15.8 million. However I am concerned at the security measure proposing to hire 35 armed guards to be deployed within the Parliament. These 35 armed guards will me be from outside professional private contractors or the Belgian security forces but they will be EU officials carrying weapons. The cost for this is budgeted at EUR 225 383. This amending budget also proposes spending EUR 1.75 million to acquire seven new armoured vehicles for the European External Action Service. There is also a provision on ‘securing the private lodgings of several EU College members’ - EU Commissioners."@en1
