"IFRS 9 is a financial instrument that constitutes one of the major responses of the IASB to the financial crisis. I voted in favour of this resolution, which calls on the Commission, together with the European Supervisory Agencies (ESAs), the ECB, the European Systemic Risk Board (ESRB) and EFRAG, closely to monitor the implementation of IFRS 9 in the EU and to prepare an ex-post impact assessment. This assessment is to be produced no later than June 2019 and presented to the European Parliament for action in accordance with our views."@en1
