"I voted against this non-legislative and non-binding motion for a resolution. While of course I sympathise with the sudden loss of jobs, the resolution was being used as an excuse for the EU to take more action and to create an EU ‘reindustrialisation policy’. The only people who should decide economic policy are our elected national governments, not unaccountable bureaucrats in Brussels."@en1
