The event was a 6.1 on the Richter Scale in which two people lost their lives and 8 people injured. The Greek Government estimated the total damage to be over EUR 66 million. While in principle UKIP opposes the EU spending British taxpayer’s money, as this was for disaster relief and there was loss of life, we will not oppose its use in this case."@en1
