lpv:spoken text	"The report on prospectuses is a key part of the Capital Markets Union (CMU), and will help improve access to funding for SMEs, of which there are 400 000 in my West Midlands constituency. Among the key features of this report is the fact that prospectuses are to be streamlined, thus reducing legal costs and red tape. In addition, in order to deepen integration of EU capital markets, we need to see less fragmentation of practices across Member States. As well as broadening the range of financing available to SMEs, we are also improving investor protection rules. This report shifts the focus of the prospectus from an exercise in lining the pockets of banks and lawyers to improving funding for SMEs and delivering the jobs and growth that we need."@en1
