"Mr President, what this country is doing is appalling. The war on drugs is not actually a war on drugs, it is a war on people.
They say people take drugs to try and experience another reality. Listening to many people in the debate here, I wonder what drugs you are on, because you talk about a war on drugs and you talk about how cartels should not be promoted in selling these drugs, and that we have got to do something about it. Yet, at the same time, I can walk out of here and I can buy as dangerous a drug as exists called alcohol around here, and you do not seem to have a problem with it.
When you are having a debate and a discussion on something and young people tune into it and they see that it does not add up, because 2 + 2 is not 5, they tune out. They will tune out of this debate as well, because I hear people here say they are against drugs and I have seen them drink alcohol. Make up your minds."@en1
