The Parliament seeks to correct this by objecting to the delegated legislation but, because in doing so the Commission is called upon to act we cannot vote in favour of either the oral amendment, or the resolution as a whole, nor can we vote against them because doing so would approve delegated legislation (and moreover that legislation would knowingly mislead investors).
