lpv:spoken text	"I voted to support this Resolution on the proposal for a Council directive implementing the Agreement concluded between the Social Partners concerning the implementation of the ILO’s Work in Fishing Convention, 2007. ILO Convention 188 and Recommendation 199 deal with concerns such as decent labour and living conditions and health and safety on board, rest periods, payment and accommodation and social security protection in the fishing industry. As a minimum agreement Member States and the social partners are free to pursue measures that go beyond the requirements set out in the Directive and the agreement will help the EU to promote the Convention’s implementation in partner countries around the world. It is also particularly welcome that this agreement also applies to self-employed fishermen who work alongside workers on the same vessel."@en1
