Although it contains many positive recommendations within it which I am in full agreement with, on incentives and other help for women and men to combine their work and private lives, it is almost entirely concerned with policies that are the responsibility of national governments. The starting point for any proposed regulation in Brussels should always be to ask: does this need to be done at a European level? If the answer is no, we should not support it."@en1
