lpv:spoken text	"In the interests of transparency and democracy I voted against this report. The report aims to ensure the implementation of the Third Energy Package in all Member States. It calls for a new regulatory framework and asks Member States to increase the use of renewable energy in order to reduce CO2 emissions from electricity generation. I voted against this report because I object to any new EU legislation in this field. I believe that the UK should make its own energy policy and exploit and invest in lower-cost, reliable energy sources like coal, gas and nuclear."@en1
