"The UK has voted to leave and our future relationship is uncertain. Our aim now is to maintain positive relationships with our European allies and not to stand in the way of their work. If we had remained a member of the EU we would have continued our fight to reform the EU budget and would have amended and voted against this report. The UK’s involvement in EU programmes is not guaranteed and neither is our budgetary contribution. This will depend upon the brexit negotiations, and it is our role as UK MEPs to critique the deals tabled."@en1
