A European approach must address key issues such as non-discrimination, access to education and training, housing, health care, labour market and social protection, the recognition of qualifications and the validation of skills, as well as family reunification and the situation and needs of vulnerable groups (mostly women, children and people with disabilities, etcetera), as these are essential aspects with a view to restoring the human dignity of refugees and allowing them to gain economic independence and contribute significantly to their successful integration in the host societies."@en1
